The sympathetic and
parasympathetic nervous systems constitute the autonomous nervous
function, and that is beyond the conscious control of man. The central
nervous system, CNS, consists of the spinal cord where the life energy
or kundalini power is stored. In the Sanskrit terminology these three
channels or nadis are even called Ida, Pingala and Sushumna. They
constitute the connection of the human being with the four-dimensional
(astral) and five-dimensional (causal) and the rest of the
five-to-ten-dimensional spiritual planes.
Ida and Pingala (the autonomous nervous system) connects the human
being with the subtle astral and causal planes while Sushumna is
immaterial. Sushumna is of invisible spiritual nature. Its primary
energy leads beyond the superior regions of sensory matter. Sushumna can
be considered as the synthesis of Ida and Pingala.
When the soul, the soul atom is transcended or elevated beyond the
influence of the sensory world, of Ida and Pingala, then it has reached
its original, natural state, the so-called absolute consciousness. When
we meditate and have some wish, no matter of what nature, our mind
identifies itself instantaneously with the wish and takes us to the
higher or lower qualitative regions of the sensory world (the creation).
Both the higher and the lower sensory regions (the subtle, astral
regions) are under the influence of the negative sensory power.
Everything created or manifested in matter, form, constitutes a hinder,
barrier for the soul in its way back to its original source.
What is going to happen if during your meditation you follow either
the left (negative, Ida)- or the right (positive, Pingala) way? You are
going to see light, images and beings of light of various intensity. You
are going to be emotionally affected and you will get stuck in the
lowest, intermediate or higher levels of the astral plane, all depending
on your own level of consciousness. This is what is happening under
different forms of meditation. One can see various images, have various
experiences, see different so-called angels which manifest themselves.
Such ´experiences have never been accepted by the spiritual teachers who
descended from the five-dimensional spiritual plane. These masters stand
above Maya, the sensory world, illusion, the limited, the changeable,
the transient.
It is better not to meditate at all than to meditate the wrong way
To meditate in order to fulfill wishes and desires of various nature
consists a trap and a dead-end for the soul. The astral plane is under
the total control of the negative sensory power and is open and
accessible for anyone seeking satisfaction one way or another.
Self-educated, self-initiated “masters” or ”teachers” are teaching
knowledge and experience originating here. This ”knowledge” is based on
sensory experiences of astral nature, irrespective of what these
self-made masters or teachers try to lull those around them into. If you
want to reach and “travel” within the astral plane, you don´t even need
a master. Your own qualities and your own power will take you wherever
you want. Anyhow, you will wind up in the claws of the negative power.
You are going to loose your free will, your consciousness and you
ability to distinguish, the control of you life and you will continue to
be bound to the treadmill of continuous rebirth and death.
Some people claim to be initiated by a spiritual master. After this
teacher has left his physical body, he will stand up and say “The master
has chosen me as his spiritual successor”. This is what is happening in
most cases. The experiences one reaches through a guide or a teacher or
so-called master can anyone reach by own power. These experiences are
always of astral origin, influenced by the senses, even if its origin is
in the more subtle, qualitative regions of the astral plane. These
experiences belong to the sensory world and have nothing to do with the
spiritual world. It is the naiveness, the ignorance and the deficient
experience of man that make him believe he is in connection with some
highly developed being. All beings that originate in the astral plane
are under the influence of the negative sensory power. This holds true
even for so-called arisen masters that some claim to be in contact with.
